When you are finished with that process,you part your hair in as many parts as you wish the braids to follow. The parts should look like rows with a long strand of hair from the front of your hair, to the back.Your cornrows should start small and end large.start cornrowing! REMEMBER TO GREASE YOUR SCALP!

you get the row of hair that you want to cornrow, grab the top part toward your forehead and divide into 3 pieces. you begin braiding it, but each time you go under with one strand of hair you grab some hair that's loose and continue doing this till your at the back of your head and then just braid it to the end of your hair.
Not directly onto weave but if your locks are short/small enough, you can cornrow them and put a stocking cap over, and then bond the weave directly onto the stocking cap therefore preserving the dreadlocks and allowing you to try a different style. Just be very careful with the bonding glue!
