Maggots crawl out of dead people , lice, nitts, knits live and jump on hair and dread locks.
Yes, but there will be fewer dreadlocks, or they will be thinner.
You need to have it braided by someone who is experienced with that sort of hair. It is harder to dreadlock straight hair but it can still be done with the right technique.

Dreadlocks are matted, knotted hair. Dreadlocking is a natural process and can occur in any hair type.Dead locks are twisted strains of hair that over time become tangled, then knots of hair. You have to keep retwisting your hair through out the process. Some people use beez wax others use Gel or Creams that specialize for the locking purpose. It take about 8 months to complete the process; in some cases it also depends on your hair texture. Nappy rooted hair has the fastest results. No this is wrong...dread locks is hair that is not comb..in africa and jamaica..mainly with rasta's you let your hair go..in jamaica if twist them they call you a bathroom dread...meaning you are not a real rasta or a fake dread...only in america is twisting popular to keep them fromed nice and neat...any one can get dread locks...it's really is dead hair you dont comb out..also the cleaner your hair the faster it dreads up...rasta's and africans dont put stuff in their hair..washing and just letting it go well dread your hair.. may take time..this is where real dreads come from...ghana is well known for bringing dread locks to jamaica ..and some other african counturies also..

Making Dreadlocks Backcombing You will need: Dread Wax Residue Free Shampoo Metal Comb Rubberbands I recommend the DreadHead Supa Dupa Dread Kit:It has everything you need and they guarantee your hair will dread. 1. Wash your hair with a residue free shampoo and let it air dry. 2. Section your hair into sections that are 1 inch by 1 inch. You can use rubberbands to hold the sections while you section the rest of your hair. 3. Start in the back of your head, remove the rubberbands and start teasing the hair towards your scalp. Only backcomb about a half inch of hair at a time, this will keep your dreads from forming loops. 4. Once you have finished backcombing the that section of hair, put a rubberband on the tip and one on the root. Add about an M&M's worth of wax to the dreadlock and palm roll it. 5. Do this to all the sections of hair.
