If your hair is very short you probably will not be able to get any of it to go into a band so you will only really be able to use clips/pins or a headband. If some of the length will go into a band you can use gel, hairspray or clips to hold down the shorter bits that come loose from the band. You can also buy fake clip-on ponytails so you could secure your real hair and clip a ponytail on the back.

Theres 3 options : 1: get on with and make the best look outta what you got. 2:extensions, glue in ones wreck your hair. 3: (this what I do) have a fringe down , And clip the rest up if it's to short by clipping it up in sections or put it in a ponytail.
