Carpet cleaner usually works for me! Just put some on the nail polish and rub!

You can remove nail varnish remover and cotton wool that stuck to the remover from a wooden table using a Q-tip and nail polish remover. Slightly moisten the Q-tip with the nail polish remover and carefully dab the pieces of cotton wool that are stuck to the table. They should come off quite easily.

I would use nail polish remover that is 100% acetone. I have used nail polish remover on linoleum tile and laminate counter tops to remove wall paint and it worked great. I just tried nail polish remover on the tile in my bathroom and it was fine. You won't have to worry about damage. If you are worried about damage try it on a little spot that isn't too visible first.
To remove nail polish from floor tile grout, you can try applying nail polish remover to a cotton ball or cloth and lightly dabbing at the stain. Scrubbing gently with a soft-bristled brush can also help loosen the nail polish from the grout. Rinse the area with water after cleaning to remove any remaining residue.

Acetone takes nail polish off of most anything, but then you lose the coating and stain. So, use a non-acetone remover and/or mineral spirits. Most likely, you will have to restain and recoat the area.
