You can rub moisturizer into the ends but the best thing to do is regular trims and not letting your hair come in contact with chlorine or bleach or even much water.
You need to trim your hair or you will get dead ends which will then keep splitting and eventually your hair will look unhealthy. i should know i am a hairdresser
I have not heard that cutting your hair decrease hair loss, but as far as shedding goes, keeping your split ends cut help keeps the split ends from splitting all the way up which can cause a few hair sheddings. It has been noted that if you have split ends it is best to cut them off. That promotes healthy hair growth.
straighten the ends repeatedly until they are straight....it works for me ..xxx have fun experimenting
If you have split ends and don't trim them, they can split further up the shaft of the hair and damage it more, forcing you to trim more off in the end. Keep them trimmed and your hair will grow longer and healthier!
No, straightening your hair does not stop it from growing. Your hair is made of dead cells--a straightener tends to damage the ends of your hair, which leads to what is termed 'dead ends'. If you straighten it, be sure to trim the dead ends regularly, depending on your hair and it's length. An alternative is to have your hair chemically straightened, which should always be done by a hair care professional. In either case, be sure to talk to your hair dresser. See related links for an article on chemical straightening.
humidity causes hair to frizz when its dry hair drying frizzy usually means its over porous or you have split ends
use a shampoo for greasy hair, apply conditioner to the ends only n finish with a cool rinse
Yes. Your hair grows from the root (inside your scalp) not from the ends. The only thing you can really do to stop your hair from growing is to remove the root.
no it does not make your hair stop growing..it grows at the same rate whether you color it or not..now your hair can begin to split and not be able to grow any longer because the ends need to be sealed and are not healthy but that is due to not getting a hair cut not because of the hair color.
It was called Pantene. It's supposed to stop split ends. :) (And it really works I use it) It was called Pantene. It's supposed to stop split ends. :) (And it really works I use it)
Your hair does continue to grow even with split ends. Trimming split ends just makes your hair look more even at the ends. The split ends tend to dry up and look ratty. Split ends do not prevent hair from growing.
No. If the hair follicle splits all the way to the end, you will lose that strand of hair. It's a bad habit, try your best to stop!
