Big box braids typically take between 4 to 8 hours to complete, depending on factors like the braid size, the length of the hair, and the stylist's experience. For larger, more spaced-out braids, the time may be on the shorter side, while smaller or more intricate styles can take longer. Additionally, preparation time, such as washing and detangling the hair, can add to the overall duration.
It depends on how tight you have the braids. Don't have them so tight that your head is hurting, but have them tight enough that they wont come out if your running around.
The time it takes to complete box braids can vary significantly based on several factors, including the size of the braids, the length of the hair, and the stylist's experience. Generally, it can take anywhere from 4 to 10 hours to finish the process. Larger braids may take less time, while smaller, more intricate styles will require more time. Additionally, if you are doing them yourself, it might take longer than if a professional stylist is doing them.
