Assuming that you had the piercing done with a CBR (Captive Ball Ring) you would be best to go to a professional piercer and ask them to remove it.

This type of jewelry is held together by the tension of the ring against the dimples in the ball. Attempting to remove it yourself could easily result in damage to the tissues, and significant pain.

However if it was pierced with a horseshoe, or stud, then all you should have to do is unscrew the ball and carefully slide it out. You may find that wearing some nitrile gloves will aid you in getting the grip needed to loosen the ball.

But, in any case, most professional piercers will do jewelry changes/removals for free. If they do charge, it's only a few dollars. Trust me, a few dollars is worth preventing the pain and potential disfigurement.

How long does it take for a tragus piercing to close?

It depends on how long you have the piercing/ how healed it is. If you have it for longer than a year and it is all healed, it will usually stay open for awhile. Your tragus is just like the cartilage on the outer rim of your ear.

Does your tragus involve your heart?

No, it's part of your ear. http://www.knowyoursto.com/images/tragus-people.jpg

What hurts more reverse tragus or double tragus?

NO such thing as a reverse tragus. Do you mean an anti-tragus? Either way, a double tragus would probably seem to hurt more just because you would have to get two of them! They're both cartilage piercing and pretty much the same thickness. So its really hard to say for sure

How long does it take for your tragus to heal after piercing?

depending on how well you take care of it and how well it was done, usually between 6 to 12 months.
