If you mean that you used some sort of suntan lotion and you want to remove it, then i can help. The quickest way would be to get some bleach water on the sink or tub and put your hand in it. Be sure to wash the area with soap and water and pat dry after. If you do not want to use bleach water, and not a lot of bleach just a small amount., then you can use lotion. I have found just like removing my make up you can use unscented lotion. You don't want to do this if you have oily skin. Anything like this can help remove suntan lotion.

Water pollution is one of the major things that destroys coral reef. When I went snorkeling in the Bahamas, we weren't allowed to wear any kind of sunblock, suntan lotion, etc. into the water, because even that can destroy coral reef.
I am not sure about the numbers, but usually if you can smell it around the water, it is going to be hard on your skin. Shower and lotion right after you get out to alleviate dryness.

Suntan lotion is a liquid or cream applied to the skin to prevent sunburn while achieving a tan.The word sunscreen (or sun block) is more often used today, indicating that some degree of ultraviolet radiation is prevented from affecting the skin. Various ingredients from PABA to zinc oxide may be used, along with oils to keep it on the skin and moisturize against the drying effects of sun, water, and wind. The Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of a sunscreen indicates its relative effectiveness, either by scattering or absorbing UV radiation.
