What do you use to neutralize Scentsy smell?
Adding any of the vanilla scents to a Scentsy bar that is too strong will neutralize it. My favorite is vanilla cream.

How does the scentsy work?
Scentsy is a wickless, scented candle system. You put the wax in a warmer and a 25 watt light bulb melts the wax and releases the scent. The wax comes in 80 different scents and the warmers come in three different sizes. The wax does not burn away. Once the scent is gone, you can pour the wax out, or wait for it to harden and pop it out with a butter knife.

You can't buy Scentsy BRAND items in stores that I know of, but you can get similar burners and refills that smell just as good without the hefty price...but most people who buy Scentsy are doing so to help out a friend who's trying to make money, so want to stick with a Scentsy consultant. For those who don't, many stores such as Target and some home lifestyle stores have very similar products, many of which smell divine. Some people like putting half of a Yankee Candle tart in their warmer, and some gutsy people even make their own refills - Google it, it's there. MyLitter is one of the sites that has recipes.

Can breathing scentsys make some people with sinus and headaches?
Any scent can trigger headaches; however Scentsy wax is formulated to be safer chemical-wise as our wax does not release chemicals into the air, only the scent. Store-bought brands require higher temps to melt and tend to be stronger, last shorter, and most release chemicals that can cause cancer or health problems into the air! I do know of several people who are usually very sensitive to the scents in candles and wax in warmers that have fewer issues with Scentsy wax.
