How much do navel piercings hurt?

I have had my navel pierced for 7moths.

I am 14. It doesnt hurt when the needle goes through, Its a bit sore afterwards though. Just make sure you clean it real good twice a day with warm water & SEA SALT take the cup put a tea spoon of sea-salt in the cup and then, fill it with warm water. stir it up until you dont see anymore salt..

Then bend over and place the cup to your belly botton ring( Hold for 3-5 min)

Then once you remove it take a few Q-Tips and clean up the stuff that comes out of it.

If you do that twice a day for the 1st 3 months and then after that just do it once a day or even once every 2 days you wont get an infection and itll look great!!

Also I was really scared & always woundering if mine was infected... Youll know if it is because the puss will be green/blue and itll hurt ALOT and itll be VERY red and itll feel extermely HOT.

But to fully answer your question.. no it doesnt hurt trust me. I cried for nothing at all when i got it done. Dont listen to people that say it does theyre just trying to scare you.

Depends on how well you tolerate pain. I have a tattoo on my upper back and the navel piercing hurt a lot more. It takes about 30 seconds to do the piercing and put the ring in, but there's a really sharp pain. And it continues to be a little sore afterward.
I personally do not think they hurt much more than a ear lobe piercing, i had mine done in June and I thought it hurt much more than it did, it is worth the pain though :)
