How much makeup should an eighth grader wear?

Do not wear too much makeup because you are still young.

I'm in 7th and wear makeup every day. I wear/recommend a light neutral lid color with a slightly darker crease, and a slightly lighter highlight. Line your LASHLINE not your waterline with black liner, but don't go overboard. Stick to one coat of basic black mascara. For lips I usually just throw on some gloss. If you do want to wear face makeup I'd recommend a tinted moisturizer or light powder! If your in 8th grade, you don't need to wear a lot of makeup, but its still fun. Heres what you should wear.

Face:

Concealer, Tinted Moisturizer or Foundation (It depends on how bad your skin is, but I'd just go for tinted moisturizer either way)

Light blush: Go for a nice, natural pinky color. Don't be overly dramatic.

Eyes:

Eyeshadow base (so your eyeshadow doesn't crease or fade)

Eyeshadow Shimmery champagne or light brown colored shadow. Save bright, fun colors for the beach.

Mascara Only wear brown or clear, and just a little bit.

Eyeliner Just a little bit on your upper lashline from the beginning of your iris, out.

Lips:

Lip balm This doesn't really count, since it just moisturizes your lips.

Lip gloss Your still a bit young for lipstick, and in my opinion gloss is a lot prettier

Makeup should only be used to insinuate certain areas. So please, never, ever cake on your makeup.

However, Im in 7th grade and I wear a very sheer foundation, and I use a concealer to hide the purple bags under my eyes. Then I apply a few coats of navy mascara to make my blue eyes pop. With a little but of blush and a light cream colored eyeshadow im done!

With this said, I think mascara, foundation, concealer, blush, and eyeshadow. Is perfectly fine for an 8th grader to wear :)

An 11 year old should were mascara eyeshadow and lipgloss that's enough! Or else they will look like a tramp.
