How much makeup should you wear?

I think everyone should wear makeup, for four reasons.

Reason 1: Makeup lifts your mood. The London College of Fashion did a study of over 1000 women; 85 percent of them said they felt better about themselves and more self-confident when they wore makeup.

Reason 2: According to the same study, most women expect their female co-workers to wear makeup. Also, I have found through working in retail that female customers expect the women who wait on them to wear makeup. (At one store I worked at, we had three customer service desk associates. One wore no makeup. One wore a moderate amount and the third wore quite a bit. We had a lot of non-regular customers; they would go first to the heavily made-up clerk, then to the lightly made-up clerk and finally, when they got tired of waiting in line, to the clerk with no makeup. One day the three of us made up the fresh-faced associate, and she started getting lots of customers.)

Reason 3: Everyone needs some time to themselves every day. Unfortunately, demands of family and employer can keep you from getting any. If you wear makeup, you can use "mommy's putting her makeup on, and she'll be with you when she's done" as a near-perfect way to keep from being harassed for a few minutes.

And reason 4: It is fun to play with.

If your in highschool it kindof depends on what grade your in.

I guess you could look at girls your age and see how much they wear. Which is usually the right amount considering their mom lets them get out of the house that way.

I wear:

Mascara, eyeliner (not a massive amount) , lip gloss, primer, and since i have blue eyes i wear a little pink eyeshadow. Don't go overboard. The trend for the past two years or so has been to wear little makeup. Also, it makes you seem more real and not like a fake doll. :D hope that helped.

I'm a high school girl and i think its best to wear just the right amount :). It's just horrible when you see them girls that think they're so gorgeous and cool that are totally tangoed ( really orange, i don't know if everyone uses this expression, but you do where i come from ) i wear my foundation, concealer, lipgloss, mascara, eyeliner and of course blusher :) I adore blusher and so does everyone i think :L x. light make up would be just fine, personally I would only allow lip gloss and a light eyeshadow....

many girls at that stage are learning how to wear makeup and may put too much on. i recommend that if you are blond or have light brown hair that you should wear brown eyeliner. i personally think it looks way too heavy when its black and you have light hair. wear a bit of masscara, neutral-like eye shadow (light brown) and a light pink lip gloss. a little blush and a little foundation..

I'm 13 yrs old too! But remember don't use makeup every day, your skin is still growing (what?) Use moisturizer, i recommend nivea creme :) Before you apply makeup use primer :)

Use maybelline,mac and elf

Avon is good too :)

it all depends on how you like it well, you might or should wear some light colored eyeshadow, lipgloss or lipbutter[ light shade] blush, and mascara that would be perfect and dont go of doing some smokey eye or something its gonna look to much less is more remember the less you put on is the better you will look and more is the worst you will look natral makes it buatifiul hope i anwsered your question
