I prefer Smashbox made by two Hollywood pothographers. You can get this at Ulta stores, or their online store. However, I think before foundation products are more important for coverage than the foundation itself. Get a good primer, Smashbox makes this also, good moisturizer and you're on way to a pretty face without the gunky look of too much make-up.
