I used a homemade moisturizer all over myself made from equal parts beeswax and coconut oil melted together and cooled. At first I loved the sealing effect it had on my skin. After three days of it not coming off, two showers per day,( the water just beaded up) I started to panic a little bit. I wound up using liquid hand soap and a nail brush (ouch-but I was desperate!) to scrub it off. Then a wash cloth with bar soap and finally I felt like my skin could breathe again! Yes my skin looks surprisingly OK, but I need to be able to remove substances from my skin. (like at least once a day) I have read on the web that olive oil would have helped to dissolve it, but I didn't know this till after so I didn't try it. I can still feel it on my legs. I may try a lotion that contains beeswax, (like Burt's Bees) but it will be in a smaller concentration, because it helped a lot with my eczema.

Beeswax is good for waxing up wooden grind boxes or wooden grind rails so your board can slide smoothly on the box or rail.
Polyglyceryl-3 beeswax is a synthetic emulsifier and thickening agent derived from beeswax and polyglycerol. It is commonly used in cosmetics and personal care products to improve texture and stability, allowing for better blendability of oil and water-based ingredients. Additionally, it provides conditioning benefits and enhances the overall feel of formulations on the skin. Its mild nature makes it suitable for various skin types, including sensitive skin.
beeswax
A teaspoon of beeswax typically weighs around 4 to 5 grams. This can vary slightly depending on the density and temperature of the beeswax, as well as how tightly it is packed into the teaspoon. Generally, it's a good estimate for cooking or crafting purposes.
