Golden Pearl Cream, used for lightening the skin, has the ingredients of Carnuba Wax, Beeswax, and Hydroquinones. Some say it has Mercury/lead, depending on the manufacturer. Hydroquinones have been prescribed by dermatologists to remove dark spots.

It seems to work by affecting melanin in your skin, thinning it out, your veins show and your skin is exposed to very harmful amount of uv rays that sunscreen really can't protect you from.
