Well the piercer would not be too happy if you gave him/her your cold and as a rule professional body piercers like to avoid piercing anyone who may be sick. It loads the immune system down needlessly and again we don't like being sick courtesy of a client who can't keep there cold to them selves. So it's best to wait, get better and then get your piercing.
No its notwrong for a 12 year old to have there belly pierced your only young once but that's mostly up to the parents
it means your ill
Your nose and belly button would probably be worse than your ears as your ears are cartilage with not many nerve endings and a relatively poor blood supply. Your nose is home to many infections which do not make you ill because your skin is intact, pierce it and those infections go straight in. Your ears are out in the open but your belly button is covered by clothes most of the time providing a warm, moist environment for infections to grow. This really depends on the individual. I pierced my earlobes 3 times and all 3 times it got infected even though I religiously followed the aftercare. I pierced my belly button this year and it's been 4 months and hasn't given me any problems even though I have sensitive skin. Also, the earlobes have much better blood supply than the belly button.
No, playing with your belly button should not make you sick to your stomach. It may cause discomfort or tickling sensation, but it should not make you feel ill. If you consistently feel sick after playing with your belly button, it may be a sign of an underlying issue and you should consult a doctor.
It depends how well you can handle pain. But mine didn't hurt at all, it was more of a pinch. I got it done about 4-5 months ago and it's healing nicely. I shouldn't be earth-shatteringly painful, like some people make it out to be, just remember to relax and breathe and eat something before going in the piercing studio because some people can faint or feel dizzy or ill.
Yes. The fact that you're ill means your immune system is stressed trying to fight the illness. If you get a piercing now, you are very likely to get an infection.
it means that it is ill and you haven't looked after it properly
It's called Warrior by Aaradhna :)
If you are ill you should go and see a qualified medical practitioner (a Doctor).
When it is not ill or a sleeper (Falls asleep quickly)
No because your baby could get ill from the smoke and the fumes!
Well the proper name is "Navel Piercing" because the area we pierce is the top of the navel (this is the area above the umbilical knot or in lay terms "belly button"). We don't pierce, "belly buttons", we pierce navels. The phrase "belly" draws connotations of a less than clean and shapely individual, as an example "beer belly" (not per say a svelte image when mentally visualized). The phrase Navel is anatomically correct to indicate a location on the human anatomy. So when the phrase "belly piercing" or "belly button" piercing is used it also indicates a a lack of knowledge about body piercing and what is involved in providing the service. This can be a concern, people think something is simple and then they try to "do it your self" and end up gravely ill or seriously hurt jumping into something without doing the research. It's also a matter of respect for the craft, if you want something done learn about it for your own safety and address it as it should be addressed, using the correct terminology and names. Professional body piercers go through a lot of studying, learning, researching and practicing to become good enough to earn the respect of our peers and the trust of our clients. All we ask is that you take the time to learn a bit about what you want and treat it with the respect it deserves and the name it is known as.
