Go to the hospital. Do not go to a doctor without first consulting your piercer. Many doctors have little to no knowledge on the care of piercings and many are in fact completely clueless as to the risks, procedure and aftercare of piercings. If you have not gone to the hospital or your doctor as the pervious answer suggested I would highly recommend going in and seeing your piercer.

Well that depends on gender, male or female. Male nipple piercing is momentarily intense due to the lack of actual tissue. Female nipple piercing is also intense but my client say that it's a diffrent type of intense (not so much pain)
As part of puberty, hormone levels rise / fall, sometimes this action will cause blood to fill and engorge the nipple causing pain. It is usually short lived and will pass soon.
