What age should you get acrylic nails?

A girl getting artificial nails would depend on when her fingers are large enough for the nails to fit or if the artificial nails can be cut to fit her fingernails. The girl would also need to be able to continue to do her daily activities while wearing the artificial nails. Holding a pencil while wearing artificial nails can be difficult for a child just learning to write.
