There isn't really a certain way she needs to look, apart from NOT having red hair. Since she is the oldest, she needs to be taller than the other six "main" orphans. I personally always picture her having blond hair in two braids, but that's just me. She wears layered ragged clothes of soft dull colors and lace up boots or jazz boots, just like the rest of the orphans.

You don't necessarily have to look like Annie to play the part. Wigs and make-up can transform a person into almost any character. Red wig, freckles, pale skin, preferably short.
