Well, nothing really, ive been straightening my hair for about a year with no side effects. But if you do straighten your hair when it is completely dry then you can end up with dry, split ends.
If you just colored your hair, it's fine, if you straighten with a flat iron, don't thermal straighten it.If you bleached, do not straighten your hair. Try not to do this too often anyway as flat iron's are worse for your hair than perming it!I am a licensed cosmotologist.
during the summer
It is safe to straighten your hair as long as it's not horribly damaged to begin with. You shouldn't have your straightener heat too high and shouldn't leave it on your hair too long in one sitting, there is also a product you can put on your hair to help with the heat process.
dont straighten your hair at all for a while. and shampoos can help too.
Noo gel makes your hair stay as it is. It usually makes it hard too.
Any hair straightener can burn your hair because of too much heat. If you want to straighten your hair safely then apply heat protection spray and straighten it. Also you can use this spray for curling or waving irons.
Well, first you have to wash your hair with straightening shampoo and conditioner.. but not too much. You can mix the shampoo with water, 50%-50%, and use pure conditioner. After, dry your hair with a towel, blow dry it, then straighten it with a hair straightener. Straighten your hair by a group of strands at a time; from under your hair to over, then the bangs. Put serum (not too much) and then hairspray. Also, you can use coconut oil or Arabia serum.. it usually works the best..
Both are bad for your hair. Straightening your hair too frequently & dyeing your hair too much will both do the same thingdry out the hair, making it brittleresult is dry & split endsmake the hair grow more slowly
AnswerThere is really no said way to permantly starighten your hair. You could just straighten it everyday or, if it really bothers you that much, just take the risk and get it straightened permantly or get your hair relaxed. I wish there was a way to permantly straigten it too! :) Hope this helped ~ Oliviabbie
I have very thick long curly hair , it's a night mare to keep straight ! , You should try straightening balm , it will help your hair stay straight ! Also when you straighten your hair do it in layers take the bottom layer of hair out and clip the rest up , Straighten your hair in layers and as you straighten pull the straighteners down your hair very slowly , if you do this it will help to stay nice and straight . When you straighten your hair don't keep going over it. If you do go over it a lot it wont stay straight because there is too much heat on your hair straighten slowly and don't go over it too many times . 3 -4 on each strand . Once you have done this is should be okay , but if not add some straightening balm and maybe hair spray. See related links for a brand of straightening balm.
I have thick frizzy hair too! I usually just spritz it with water and throw it up in a pony or spritz it and straighten it!!
Frizzy hairy is just like poofy hair its very very THICK and you would have to straighten it again and again after you shower. I have Frizzy and Poofy Thick hair and that's disappointing. But you can use baby oil (but not too much or your hair will be oily) to straighten it a little. You could also straighten it or straighten it permanently. You could also use salon products that are AWESOME for your hair. Anyways Frizzy hair can be caused by humidity or your hair could just be unhealthy and very dry. But in my case I was born with it so it just came naturally for me.
