• Avoid harsh and drying soaps
• Return to your manicurist for regular, professional manicures at least every 2-4 weeks for maintenance and further treatments

• Rinse hands thoroughly with lukewarm water and dry them with a soft towel. Skin creases which are left wet can crack and become sore.
• Use hand cream or lotion after washing to lubricate and soften the skin.
• The health and strength of nails depends on a good supply of protein and also, iron, calcium, potassium, Vitamin B and iodine. A well-balanced diet contains all the nutrients essential for good health - and for your nails and hands.

• Buff the nails to a healthy pink shine before going to bed. This stimulates the supply of blood to the nails.

• Wear a barrier cream and gloves when going out in the cold. Use a richer hand cream during the winter months with an SPF.
• Massage the hands each evening with a good quality hand cream before going to bed.
• Rub cuticle cream into the nails and cuticles at bedtime to keep them soft and pliable.
• Always apply a base coat under nail enamel to protect the nails and prevent them becoming stained.
