Scrotal acne differs from facial acne in severity, how often they come and how long they last. There are only two evidence based and prooven methods that can help you get rid of acne.
1: Daily washing with mild, hypoallergenic, ANTIBIOTICA-FREE soap (can not stress this one enough).
2: Daily treatment with Benzoyl Peroxide. (hereafter BP.) BP is a ceratinolytic (skin opening) antiseptic (not an antibiotic, so resistance is not a problem). Routine cleaning with a BP-gel or cream will rid you of all scrotal acne and facial too. True story, worked for me.
Conciderations: Not acne? Some of the glands may have becom chronic, they are usually very large, bulging, hard and have a red aura. They don't respond to treatment. Theese have to be surgically removed by a doctor. Removing these are routine and the actual removal is usually done in a few minutes. (Again talking from experience, you should have seen mine, it was HUGE.)
Concideration: Hair follicle? There will come a hair out of the zit when it bursts. No worries, just let it be. Don't try to yank it away, leave it there and shave it away with all the rest.
Anti-scarring. We've all seen deep acne scarrs, fairly unappealing. To avoid theese (this also applies to your scrotal acne) take theese steps:
1: Whait them out. Put BP on them, let them dry out and that will be the end of it. No burst -> No scar.
2: If they burst, empty them completely. This stings but you must empty them entirely. Get all the yellow pus out. When all the pus is out it will stop bleading. Now it will only sieve a clear sticky "would-protection-scretion". If it's still bleading, it's not clean.
Rinse wound with a face firendly, parfume free soap, gently.
Rinse with water.
Put some skin friendly tape over the wound to improove healing.
This way your skin should keep looking gorgeouos. Regardless of your skin condition, you're still a great person!
