If you are using lighteners/bleach these products must be mixed with a proper strength developer, such as a 10, 20, 30 or 40 volume, this will lightened your hair. Be sure to mix these items equally using the correct ratio. This must be applied to dry hair. After you have reached your desired color you wash your hair, conditioned it and style as desired. You can also apply a toner or other temporary colors over this. You should always follow the manufacturers directions, which ever system you use comes with instructions on how to apply and when not to apply dyes and color systems to your hair.
