What is the easiest way to clean an industrial piercing?

Cartilage piercing regardless of it being and industrial or a simple flange or rook piercing are difficult to heal due to the lack of blood circulation in the cartilage. Cleaning should be kept as simple as possible for the best results, simple irrigation under clean warm running water while gently moving the jewellery back and forth has been overall the best method to cleaning this type of piercing. Allowing the air to get at the piercing and preventing haircare products and conditioner from getting into the piercing will allow it to heal withoutinterruption. Many people will say to use a half dozen potions and lotions, salves balms and other assorted junk, however at the end of the day the piercing will heal if cleaned with water and allowed to do it's thing with little interference.

Get 2 cotton buds (or q-tips, depending on what you call them). Put your cleaning solution, whether it be a sea/rock salt formula or a more specific product, on to both ends of each cotton bud. Gently rub each end around one exit hole of the industrial piercing, being sure not to use an end more than once, and whilemaking usre to work the solution into the hole at least a little bit. It is as very important to be gentle while doing his at first, as industrial piercings can have longer healng times than most other piercings, and as such can be a lot more sensitive for longer periods of time. Soak it in a Sea salt solution. Put a pinch of natural sea salt in a shotglass full of warm water. Soak your piercing in it for 5-10 minutes and do it 2-3 times daily. 2 times a day is fine, really. You can also use a gentle antimicrobial soap every now and then. Don't use soap too often or you'll dry out your piercing and delay the healing process.
