Its called a Crown. Most people have one crown, some have two. Haven't seen more than that.
How do you get rid of it?
I was just looking up this question as well cos I was wondering the same thing. My oldest child has 1, my second child has 2, my third child has 3 and my fourth child has 2. Child two and four and girls so its really annying cos the at the back of their head so they get the "alfalfa" look if it is short. The only time my third child's is annoying is when I cut his hair cos it is hard to get it all cut even around the 3 of them.
The swirl on top of the head is called a cowlick, which is a section of hair that grows in a different direction from the rest of the hair. It can be natural or caused by hair texture and growth patterns.
no
That "swirl" in the hair, which is usually located near the crown area of the head, is known as a growth pattern or a "cowlick."
he had a bald fade with the swirl most of the time
curly hair is when you have your hair kind of twisted so you kind stick your finger in the loop or swirl of hair. wavy hair is when your hair has waves in it like a body of waves.
When you have a swirl in the middle of your hair where it seems your hair is coming from, some people have two. Unfortunately one of them is me. Luckily I have thick hair, otherwise your hair would bounce up as I have short hair.
headband, hat, hair. if i have anymore I'll get back to you on this.
The forelock.the hair that grows at the back of the hooves is called the fetlock.get it?
teasing
A cowlick usually stands straight up right smack at the top of the head while a swirl is simply a round swirl of hair and doesn't stick up.
The hair on the sides and back of the head is commonly referred to as the "sideburns" and "nape hair," respectively. These areas are often included in hairstyles and grooming practices.
