Melanin i belive...... Melanin is what gives your skin its color! We r learning about that in science class.
PIGMENT. People who lack it are albino.
There's no way that I know of because there is a certain chemical in your skin that makes it the color that it is. Perhaps plastic surgery. I don't think it's worth it though. Be happy in the skin your in. :)
Heritity dictates your skin color melanin is what makes the pigment(color)
yellow makes pale skin look lighter. white, however, tends to look better because it shows up your color and doesnt make you look washed out.
The variations in human skin color is controled by the amount of melanin within the epidermis or outer layer of skin. Albinos, or persons with little or no melanin in their skin, have very pale, pinkish skin, regardless of the skin color of their parents.
YES!!! Melanin is the substance that makes the pigment of your skin!!! Carotene, also, is a contributor to skin color, most noticeable on palms and bottom of feet!
The distribution of pigment makes the skin tougher.
Even ColorConsistent color is a sign of youthful, healthy skin. Studies have shown that consistent, even skin tone is a main element of attractiveness. As a matter of fact, the consistency of skin color is considered more attractive than having a certain skin color.
A person's pigment is determined by the amount and type of melanin produced by melanocytes in the skin. Melanin is a pigment that gives skin its color, and variations in melanin production can result in different skin tones. Genetic factors, exposure to sunlight, and certain medical conditions can also affect a person's pigment.
