In the center of your tongue about 1/2" to 5/8" back from the tip
tongue piercing, its a pretty self explanatory thing but. a tongue piercing is when you go to professional who is certified to do oral piercings legally. Your tongue will have a looped clamp put on it to hold your tongue in place, and a piercing needle will be put through your tongue near the middle and a small tongue bar will be inserted closely following the needle.
you can do it. i have some friends that put bellyrings and tongue rings in there ears.
yes
Don't put peroxide in your mouth. It can kill you. Go back to the piercing parlor or your doctor's to have it checked out. To properly clean your piercing, brush your teeth twice a day, as well as the top and bottom of your tongue. To clean the tongue bar, dip it in alcohol, and if you're putting it back in your tongue right away, rinse it. I don't have my tongue pierced, though I want one, and I asked my boyfriend this question. He gave me his answer.
No a navel banana bell is not designed nor intended to be used in a tongue piercing. Tongue piercings are done with a straight barbell, the curve in the navel bell will cause trouble with the tongue piercing as well as being too short.
That is based on the tongue size ( not all tongues are created equally ) the thicker the tongue the longer the barbell. This is to make room for swelling. Your professional body piercer will check your tongue and size you for the right barbell to do the job. Two weeks after the piercing is done the swelling will have eased off and a shorter barbell can be put into the piercing to avoid doing dental damage.
Put a shorter barbell in the piercing and it won't look crooked.
In a licensed and inspected facility that provides professional body piercing services.
The tongue piercing process is usually like this: * A clamp is put on the tongue to hold it in place for the actual piercing. This can feel uncomfortable, but it doesn't hurt. * A thin tube is placed on the point where the piercing should go. * The needle is put in this tube and then pierced through the tongue. * The piercing is then placed through the needle and closed up with the ball ends. If done by a professional, s/he will keep all utensils absolutely sanitized the entire time (including the tongue ring).
don't tell them don't talk much around them To hide a tongue piercing from your parents, you just don't get it pierced. OR you can get a clear tongue ring to put in.
honestly yes, in a sense, you cant really have a normal dermal plate because theyre too long, but what I did was I used a labret piercing with rounded back plate in place of my tongue bar, making sure it was a snug fit and the labret plate actually worked its way into my tongue and I just left if for the bottom to heal.. its been 6 months and its perfectly healthy.. since then I have had ball bearings put in my tongue
If you want it in the center you can see if they can put it as far forward or back as you want but it is slightly limited by the tongue frenulum sometimes.
