nail polish remover typically contains acetone or other solvents designed to dissolve nail polish, which is composed of specific polymers and resins. Pills, on the other hand, are made of various compounds, including binders, fillers, and active ingredients that have different chemical structures and properties. These components are not soluble in acetone, making nail polish remover ineffective at dissolving pills. Additionally, the formulation of pills is designed to be stable and resistant to solvents to ensure proper delivery and absorption in the body.
Yes, isopropyl alcohol can be used to effectively remove nail polish as it acts as a solvent to dissolve the polish. However, it may not be as gentle on the nails as traditional nail polish remover and can potentially dry out the nail bed if used frequently. It is recommended to use pure acetone or nail polish remover for best results.
no it cant it makes your hair nice and silky and straight and smooth
Neither ethanol nor isopropanol (the main ingredients of rubbing alcohols) are good solvents for the solid plastic material (nitrocellulose, or guncotton, and related cellulose esters) in nail polish. A good solvent is a substance that effectively dissolves (or in our case, removes) another substance. Acetone, however, is a very good solvent for nitrocellulose. That's why acetone is the basis of nail polish remover.

It depends on what the nail polish remover is.Most nail polish remover I'm familiar with is primarily a mixture of acetone, ethyl acetate, and/or 2-propanol. Ethyl acetate is pretty harmless; acetone and 2-propanol are a bit more of a problem, but "a tiny bit" is unlikely to kill you. Some nail polish remover contains acetonitrile, which isn't terribly toxic itself but tends to be metabolized to cyanide, which is, well, cyanide. If you find yourself feeling ill afterward (breathing difficulties, slow heart rate, nausea, vomiting) you should definitely call the poison control center and/or head for the nearest emergency room. Cyanide poisoning is treatable, but not by anything you've probably got lying around the house.
