It probably stings because you probably cut yourself a little bit, next time you shave.....wet your skin with warm water and use shaving cream.

it depends on how old she is if she is about five put a little teddy bear or sock monkey and if she is about 10 put a tiny bottle of deodorant and if she is 11 you can put a razor and shaving cream. from there on up it is easy you just have to follow her patterns and see what she likes. It's all about marketing according to gender roles. Also, regular hair conditioner works as well as, if not better than, shaving cream- and that's one less thing you have to buy.
I think that an average person should put on deodorant at least 1 time a day. I personally put it on 2 times a day.
