If by straightening you mean with a flat iron then no, it won't cause your hair to lose curl.
Can you use neutralizer to do straightening of hair?
Neutralizer are applied after a relaxer or perm. A relaxer straightens and a perm curls. Neutralizer locks the hair into it's straight shape and it also removes the chemicals from your hair to make it stop working.
Can you get a perm on a rainy day?
It is not necessarily recommended to get a perm on a rainy day due to the higher level of moisture and humidity that could ruin the newly-done perm. However, rain should not nonetheless stop you from a perm, but only if you be careful and try your best to remain inside and away from the water.
Will straight hair look good in a perm?
Yes. My hair was straight with only a little wave, I put it in a perm a year ago and it was awesome...just remember, it's permanent. I'm sick of it now, but I have to wait until it finishes growing out. If I don't do anything to my hair, the top of it is straight and then near my ears it's wavy. Not so awesome.
