i don't think you can because my hair is African American and English and i have to straighten my hair first
Its because of the parents genes. Since African Americans usually have course and tight curly hair, when mixed with a difference race that has fine straight hair, it results in loose curls.
You can't you just have to accept your natural head of curls.
You can curl it with rollers & get nice spiral curls, or you can simply leave out heavy products that weigh your hair down.
How the hair curls after wet depends on the type of hair they have. In some cases, their hair will curl after you wet it. In almost all cases, if they get a perm and wet their, it remains straight.
It's just called hair. Whether you're black, white, or purple, hair is hair.
If your hair is naturally curly then no, you cannot lose your curls.
No. They wore big curls with their hair down and teased to big (Not HUGE) proportions, a little larger than a scene girl's hair.
Maybe light skinned & maybe the hair texture is mixed or it's like African American hair but grows different...I'm part African American & part Irish.
by straghting it
My hair curls really easily so when I do it with my hair wet or even damp, I look like a poodle. When my hair is dry, it comes out a lot better. If your hair curls easily then try it dry first.
Some good African American hairstyles are wavy updo, color blocked, and classic curls. Wavy updo can be achieved by shaving the sides and "poofing" the top. Color blocked just consists of adding light highlights to a darker hair. Finally, classic curls is just using a curler to curl one's hair.
Look for products that describe the texture of your hair, not the color of your skin.
