Well the piercing needs to heal, this can take up to a year for a piercing to become seasoned (this is when you can remove the jewellery for a few hours and not have an issue putting it back in).
Average heal time can vary from piercing to piercing from 4~6 weeks for some and others a lot longer. Light heals are not considered "healed" and can be damaged by removing the jewellery too soon.
There is none. The rejection rate really depends on the piercer. The farther back into the breast (pretty much where the nipple and areola meet), the better. After the piercing is complete, it is up to the customer (you) to take care of it.
Well if it's male nipples and they have enlarged already, it's too late. Once the nipple enlarges, which it always does with male nipples, then there is nothing you can do. it's going to stay that way. It's a normal thing the body does to compensate for the jewellery in the piercing. Once the jewellery is taken out it will shrink a bit but not as it was prepiercing. Now if it's a female nipple and the piercing has enlarged the nipple it too is a done deal and will not return to the "before piercing look" once it's pierced and healed it's like that to stay. However with the jewellery removed from the piercing and left out perminently the nipple will receed a little over time (6~8 months) but it will still be noticably larger than the unpierced nipple. This is why most body piercers do not want to pierce just one nipple because people eventually want the nipples the way they were before the piercing. If both nipples are pierced and healed then when the jewellery is removed the nipples will receed a bit and at least look similar without the piercing holes being noticable. Sensitivity with the nipples will also return but only after an extended period of time, they will never be hyper sensitive like the prepiercing sensation but they will become sensitive as they are with jewellery in the piercing.
Actually no it's not OK for nipple piercings on females to extend past the nipple and into the areola. Your experienced and trained professional body piercer would know this. The structure of the female breast is a complex dynamic of surface tissue, connective tissue, ducts, glands and other structures. Inexperienced can lead to damaged milk ducts and other issues not readily noticed at the time the piercing is done. Don't just see any body claiming to be a professional piercer, check for business license, health inspection reports and past client feed back before submitting to a piercing. If this was a piercing done at home "D.I.Y" well what you see is what you get, good luck.
You're piercing your back?
Well chances are good that the piercing may not close, it depends on how long you had the piercing before the jewellery is removed. Most of my clients get the jewellery replaced with a PTFE barbell which is ultra flexible made of surgical Teflon they manage to keep the piercing right through to delivery with no problems. If you have had the piercing for over a year, chances are good the piercing wont closed but it will shrink without jewellery in the piercing. You can get the jewellery put back in by seeing your piercer and having them use an insertion taper to reinsert the jewellery.
Well if you still have the barbell and you can get it back in the piercing without damaging the piercing, then put it in and tape it down till you can get thread on balls for the ends. If you think you have issues of not being able to get the barbell back in go see your local body piercer and have them put it in for you. They can taper the piercing and put the barbell back in without damaging the piercing.
If you have allergies then totally!! But for the first few days it will bug you but then it goes back to normal
no
Probably not. If anything, nipple piercing comes with its own risks of losing sensation (though it's not the case most often). Answer from a Professional Body Piercer: I have had many women who have inverted nipples come in and get them pierced to prevent the nipple from inverting with great success, and I have also had women with implants come and have there nipples done to add sensation to the nipples that they lost due to the implant proceedure. So the breast lift proceedure is basicly a reajustment of the connective tissue to which the breast is supported. Piercing the nipple will cause the nipple to enhanse and enlarge slightly depending on the gauge (thickness) of the jewellery used. (Generally 14 ~ 12 gauge depending on the intended use, 14g being the most common) The enhansement effect can take 6 to 8 months to occur, it's not and over night thing but it will happen. You may feel sensations differently than before, but the piercing will help by allowing more manipulation of the nipple and thus more stimulation and with that more feeling.
Go back to your piercing studio and talk to them, they did the piercing get them to help you, that's what you paid for.
It's probably a bunch of white blood cells trying to get rid of the foreign body, but just in case, I would go back to the place where you got it pierced and get a second opinion from a professional because it could be infected.
Probs not, bro :(
