Replaced.
In an organism, a genetic code is made by the cells, but in that genetic sequence, if one or more letters are change, replaced, or deleted, then those cause mutations in the organism In an organism, a genetic code is made by the cells, but in that genetic sequence, if one or more letters are change, replaced, or deleted, then those cause mutations in the organism
Wood is biotic because trees are living so is wood -lexie bryson three ocks middle school
Meiosis, because it occurs in gametes, which produce a new organism, rather than mitosis, which occurs in cells other than sex cells, and usually just causes the cell to die, and be replaced rather than grow into a mutated organism.
The term is transgenesis. The product is recombinant DNA, and the resulting organism is transgenic, e.g. a transgenic mouse. But the word "transgenic" is not applied to bacteria.Typical methods of creating recombinant DNA include:* using bacterial plasmids, which are modified and then replaced in bacteria * using a virus as a vector (carrier of modified DNA into a host organism) * microinjection using a micropipette There are other techniques.
An organism whose tissues are completely replaced by minerals is a fossil.
When an organism is petrified its organic tissue is most likely replaced with minerals.
A fossil.
The cell contents are replaced over a long period of time by minerals.
Petritrified Fossil- a fossil formed when minerals replaced all or part of an organism.
During fossilisation, living cells are replaced by minerals. This preserves the physical appearance (but not the original organism)
In geology, petrification or petrification is the process by which organic material becomes a fossil through the replacement of the original material and the filling of the original pore spaces with minerals. So yeah the answer is petrification
Permineralization is the process of fossilization where mainly water mineral deposits take the form of the organism. The minerals harden with time and pressure from over laying deposits turning into rock. Petrification happens when silica binds with celulose of a plant and turns into stone often retaining the microstructure of the plant.
When the properties of components are replaced by new properties they form a compound and not a mixture. Mixture retain their individual properties in variable proportions.Ê
Replaced.
Animals are not preserved as fossils. Fossils are imprints of the organism where the body has been replaced by rock minerals. They are most usually found in sedimentary rocks, occasionally in metamorphic rock but never in igneous rock.
Minerals such as silca, iron, and pyrite are critical for fossilization in both processes. However, in replacement, the hard structures of the organism dissolve and are replaced with minerals. During replacement, the original microscopic details, such as the inside of a bone, are partially or totally destroyed. ~Follow me on Twitter: @jennholguinxo I follow back!
