First of all, common sense any person cant live under the water not even animals except for fishes and other water animals. normal person they cant even breathe because when they go down into the water. the water gets into their nose ears and mouth maybe they just can live hardly for 5-6 mins. or the luckiest person maybe for hours or for days finding there way.
