In terms of Epidemiology a vector is an organism which transmits diseases to healthy organisms. A biological vector develops an infected organism in its body and passes it along to its host. e.g mosquito while a mechanical vector carry an infected organism to its host through its legs and other body parts. e.g flies.
Wood is an example of a Bio-Degradable substance. Bacteria will digest wood and return its chemicals to the soil. Glass is a Non-Bio-Degradable substance. It would have to be reCycled through mechanical processes, such as grinding, melting, etc.
biological law is law of biological mention .
do not tilt the micropipette, otherwise the solution will go inside of it and it is difficult to take out
what is the difference between biological and non biological washing powder
Biological vectors include viruses as well as plasmids.
mechanicals
Plant roots cause Biological weathering which is indeed Mechanical in its nature. Animals burrowing is also a cause of Biological weathering.
biological weathering is when plants grow inside of a rock and break it apart, mechanical weathering is when rocks are broken apart by a force
Micro-pipettes can be mechanical vectors for disease. Since they do not carry the disease like a living organism, they cannot be considered to be a biological vector. If the pipette is not sterilized properly, the result can be a mechanical vector for a disease.
Mechanical means using machinery whereas biological means using another form of life to control the weed. Biological way is Eco-friendly. Go Bio whenever possible!
no it's biological, like washing powder
micropipette
Moss is biological weathering, actually, because it involves a plant.
The opposite of mechanical (by machine) could be biological or natural. The opposite of mechanical (perfunctory, without thought) could be conscious, considered, or thoughtful.Where mechanical has the connotation automatic, the opposite would be manual.
Mechanical weathering, Biological weathering and Chemical weathering.
As in the terminology chemical treatments done by applying chemicals, and biological treatments are carried out by inoculating biodegrading enzymes producing bacteria or any other microorganisms (lab made).
