yes it can be passed to your children or close family members like your neices or nephews doctors havent proved it yet but my mom had chiari then her nephew got ity and now me and my sister has it so that answers your question right there

here's another story my mum has chiari and its passed onto me my mum has all types of surgery and im only 12 so im looking for the future and also im getting all the symptons of chriari so if you have chriari go check from the doctor its what i had to do

yes this does. A child with little controll over muscles of face can experience speaking difficulties wich leads to frustration. Moreover the excusiating headaches do nothing for ones mood. Frequently chiari is caused by mumps virus and other inflamations in the brain such as b-12 dificiency,hep-b vaccination ect.
