Hello! YES, she can. I'm 0- my husband (of 12 years) is b+ . Both our kids are b+ also. (1 son, 1 daughter.) After the birth of our kids, I had to have an injection (which was painless) to counteract any blood crossings from me to baby. As my daughter is b+, she won't have this problem giving birth herself. Hope this info. helps, Cheers, Dee. Melb.
Yes, there is no risk. The only time there might be cause for concern is when the girl has a negative blood type and the boy has a positive. The reason for this consideration is because if a girl has a negative blood type, and conceives a child from a partner with a positive blood type, her own body can attack the unborn baby as it senses the presence of antigens that don't exist in her own body. If the girl has a positive blood type there is no problem, because if she conceives a child with a negative blood type, there are no unwanted antigens to deal with.
However, in modern times, the mothers blood type is tested before the birth of her first child. If the mother is found to have a negative blood type, she will be given a preventative vaccination after the birth to prevent her body from building up antibodies that may attack her second child. So all up, if you love him, don't let the blood test stop you :)
Sure, you can't enforce a marriage ban based on blood group.
A bit more:
If, by your question, you mean can someone with O negative blood type have children with someone with O positive blood type, the answer is yes. These two blood types are completely compatible for having children together with no problems or complications.
sure there you can't ban a marriage based on blood type.
yes
The only problem that I know of is if the woman gets pregnant and the baby is positive. She will then have to have a shot to reduce the risk of miscarriage. This is only to do with the negative and positive aspect. As far as O and B are concerned, I don't know of any complications.
You blood group has nothing to do with whom you want to marry !2nd Answer:The trouble that results in having a blue baby is when its mom is 'negative' and the dad is 'positive. This is not a blood type issue, but rather a Rh factor issue.
Yes, people of any blood types can marry. If a woman with negative Rh factor gets pregnant, she gets an injection to lower the risk of complications in future pregnancies.
Absolutely - blood type does not limit the potential spouses for anyone. However, a B- woman chooses to have children with a man with Rh positive blood of any type (AB, A, B or O), she needs to be careful and let her doctor know that she may be carrying an Rh+ baby even though she is Rh-. The doctor can explain the potential complications, as well as what the doctor can do to prevent or minimize the potential for those complications.
A woman from any blood group can produce children with a man from any blood group. IgG blood group antibodies can cause hemolytic disease of the newborn. One of the major advances of twentieth century medicine was the development of injectable Rho(D) immune globulin, which prevents hemolytic disease of the newborn.
