I have never heard of that. On the spray can, there should be a website or a 1-800 # that you can call. I would call them or e-mail them and see what they say. Good luck. Lead has been taken out of paint for years, but, there are fumes and anything you work with that has a strong odor you should wear one of those white masks just to protect your lungs. There is no statistical reports on the effects of chemicals in spray paint harming your body. Next time, when you use something with a strong odor put on that face mask (white ones bought in any hardware store.)

What harm does smoking do?

When cigarette smoke is inhaled, thousands of chemicals get into your bloodstream and travel throughout your body. These chemicals cause damages to different parts of the body. Chemicals in cigarettes cause damage to the macula (the most sensitive part of the retina, the back of the eye). Tiny blood vessels can burst through the macula, leading to irreversible damage. According to the recent research, there is a strong association between smoking and a number of common eye diseases, including Graves' ophthalmopathy, age- related macular degeneration, glaucoma and cataract. Eventually, continuous smoking may perpetuate further damage and lead to permanent blindness.
