Yes! This happened to me today with my Italian Greyhound. She has a high prey drive and took off after a squirrel--all the while wearing her martingale collar on a leash. One of her eyes immediately filled with blood and looked scary. A trip to the vet and the doggie ophthamologist confirmed it. However, if your dog has bloodshot eyes, see a vet right away. It could end up being something like glaucoma or pink eye--which require immediate treatment.

What drugs cause glassy bloodshot eyes?

"WHO CARES NO ONE should do drugs period yea i said it u bad people think u so bad cuz u do drugs" Sir/Madam you are a fool and obviously need to learn to spell correctly. Drugs are only bad as we have made them that way. I have been disabled for five years in the UK at the young age of 26 with a son to look after. I started smoking "weed" and now I have my life back as I no longer have the pain and am returning to work. You have no clue about "drugs" and I suggest you look up about what we actually use them for. Stop thinking it is always about the benders who use it and remember those who get their lives back from things like "Weed". Oh and they use cocaine in hospitals... Oh and Horse tranquilizers!
