Can you get mono in your 40's?

Absolutely. I was 45 when I got mono. I think it's more common in younger people but it being a contagious disease you can probably get it at any age. It's harder on older people.

And when my MD said there was nothing he could do for it, that I had to just wait it out, I knew there had to be SOMEthing to help and I found a good Naturopath and she treated me for it.

I'm 47 now and I still can feel the effects of it if I don't take care of myself. It's a different kind of tired and run down feeling, takes longer to recover from.
