Cilia and flagella are an arrangement of microtubules. Microtubules are fibrous rods that primarily affect the shape, movement, and support of a cell. For example, microtubules are the fibers you see in mitosis that pull the chromosomes to separate ends of the cell.

∙ 14y agocilia is a hair like structure which helps micro organisms like paramecium move. It is present on their body in large number. Cilia & flagella are the same. But they are called by different names for different micro organisms.asdfadfgqaertqwertg sdfgaert adsfdfgertgeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggasdgagdfgasssdffassssassssssgaaaaaaaaaayyyasssssssss

Cilia and Flagella
Cilia
Bacteria only have cilia while protists have both cilia and flagella.
Flagella, Cilia. and Microtubules / Microfilaments
Referring to the arrangement of 9 microtubules (motor proteins flagellin & dynein) surrounding 2 microtubules in the middle. It is 9+2 arrangement

cilia and flagella
Centrioles have a 9 + 0 pattern of microtubule triplets. Cilia and flagella have a 9 + 2 pattern. Kinesin is a motor molecule.
If you are talking about the flagella and cilia separately, neither do.

Protozoans move with the help Pseudopodia, cilia and flagella. Pseudopodia - Amoeba Cilia - Paramaecium Flagella - Euglena
No itis not. Flagella are longer than cilia
Bacteria only have cilia while protists have both cilia and flagella.
== == They depend on the kind of protozoan. Possibilities are flagella (flagellum singular), cilia, or a pseudopod. == == == ==
