Hooke didn't invent cells. Cells are part of nature, they're there whether we care or not. Hooke invented the microscope, which made it possible for him to see, to discover cells. They're too small to be seen by the unaided eye.

he discovered thaT there were tiny pARticles in plAnts. he did not look in animAl cells yet so he only thought thAt cells could be found in plAnts.
