You do carry the gene. But, brown overpowers most colors so it is more likely your children will have brown eyes. Lets say you have 4 children. 3 of them will mostly likely have brown eyes. 1 of your children will most likely have hazel eyes. (This is all circumstantial. But this is what happens on average.) Two of your children (Including hazel eyes) might carry the gene. This is sorta like the birthing of children. If everything worked out like above, you would be able to plan how many girls and boys you would have. But this could easily change. All of your children might have brown eyes, or you might have 3 children with hazel. it all depends. -Actually, if hazel eyes are recessive, it's difficult to tell, since if both parents have brown eyes then it's possible for your parents to have given you both dominant alleles, as the parent on your uncles side may not even have it since they are in the same situation. the odds are 75% that that parent has the hazel gene, but you can't be 100% positive. And if they do have it, there's only a 50% chance it would be passed on to you.
Majority of Chinese children are born with brown eyes, but if there parents are a mixed race then we cannot determine the color of eyes. Most Chinese people have Brown, Light or dark, But some do have blue or green eyes.
It really depends on genetics down the parents line. Brown pigmentation on the eyes is a dominant allele on the gene and where 2 brown eyed parents reproduce, there is a high chance that all children will have brown eyes. However, if both parents carry a gene for blue eyes, which is recessive, there is a chance that both genes will meet and create off spring with blue eyes. This is known in laymans terms as a 'throw back', i.e. some one on either genetic line has had blue eyes. So yes, it is possible for parents with brown eyes to have 2 children with blue eyes and one with brown.
I think you've mis-asked this question, since you've used "brown hair" in both portions of the question. If you mean, if one person has brown hair and another has blond hair, will their children have blond or brown hair? The answer is it's highly likely that the children will have brown hair - brown hair is a dominant gene - but there is a possibility that the child will have blond hair, since the way the genes combine is not always the same. If it were always predictable, all children from the same parents would be the same, like clones of each other; and they're not.
