Reactions to stimuli vary between animals and plants. The big difference is that animals are mobile while most plants are unable to move from their location. As stationary life forms, plants still grow in response to stimuli. They exhibit phototropism, geotropism, hydrotropism, thigmotropism, and response to the length of the day.

∙ 9y agoResponsiveness is different in plants and animals. For instance, plants might respond to their environment by growing in the direction of the sun. Animals will respond to their environment with more awareness. An example might be a cat seeing his owner and snuggling up to him or her.

∙ 11y agoAnimals use their keen senses [seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling] in order to react on the things that happen around them (e.g. hunt for food, mark in territory). While plants use their peculiar system of sensitivity to light.
In other words plants don't have emotions just like animals and no biologists can ever prove emotional senses from the plants.
