Of course humans need sunlight, I mean that is the only reason why you are living right now! If you didn't know then, I'll just tell you why. Sunlight has vitamin D and what does vitamin D do? It helps you have strong bones and teeth. It also helps you have energy. OK, that's how it will help humans, now this is how it will help other things and animals. The way that sunlight will help plants and animals, is by helping the food grow, I mean OF COURSE. Also, without sunlight, what in the world is keeping the earth warm? And the answer is sunlight! So there you have it, those are the main reasons of why humans (and you yourself) NEED sunlight.
