The small intestine is the organ responsible for allowing nutrients and water to pass through its walls. The walls of the small intestine are lined with villi and microvilli that increase the surface area for absorption of nutrients into the bloodstream.
The colon is the organ that removes water from undigested food in the digestive system. If the colon is unable to remove enough water, it can lead to diarrhea, whereas if too much water is removed, it can result in constipation.

If a patient has edema with swollen hands and feet, you would typically give them a hypertonic solution. Hypertonic solutions help to draw excess fluid out of the tissues and into the bloodstream, reducing swelling.
it flows through the body just like in a tube
The kidneys are generally the most stressed organ from overhydration. When excess water is consumed, it can put a strain on the kidneys to continuously filter out the excess water from the bloodstream. This can disrupt the balance of electrolytes in the body and potentially lead to water intoxication.
The excess water is absorbed into the bloodstream through the walls of the small intestine, particularly in the colon where water reabsorption takes place. The excess water is then filtered by the kidneys and excreted as urine.
The kidneys.
Drinking excess water sometimes causes hyponatremia, because the absorption of water into the bloodstream can dilute the sodium in the blood.
the large intestine
This is called edema.
When you drink water, it is absorbed in your digestive system and enters your bloodstream. The blood carrying the water travels to the kidneys, where the excess water is filtered out and excreted as urine, while the necessary water is reabsorbed back into the bloodstream.
Kidney
The reabsorption of water and electrolytes primarily occurs in the kidneys. The kidneys filter the blood to remove waste products and excess substances, while reabsorbing essential nutrients like water, sodium, and potassium back into the bloodstream.
"They can drink salt water because their supraorbital gland filters excess salt from the bloodstream. The salt is excreted in a concentrated fluid from the nasal passages." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supraorbital_gland
In certain cases it is the large intestine. In others I haven't a clue.
The organ responsible for reabsorbing water and leaving solid waste is the large intestine, or colon. As digested food moves through the colon, water is absorbed back into the bloodstream, while the remaining material is compacted into feces. This process helps the body retain necessary fluids while eliminating waste. The solid waste is then expelled from the body through the rectum.
