because gametes only have 23 chromosomes while somatic cells have 46.. when a gamete from a mother cell meets a gamete from a father cell during fertilization, they combine to create one 46 chromosomed somatic cell now a zygote, that cell will then further divide to create more somatic cells which will keep dividing to form a fetus ... hope that answers your question
Most people would already know, but I guess you don't. It's because babies are basicly a combination of the mother and fathers DNA.
Both parents have the same allels
If the parents are both AA, which results in the cross AA X AA, then the offspring will all be AA. If both parents are AA, resulting in the cross AA X AA, then all offspring will be AA. If BOTH parents are Aa, resulting in the cross Aa X Aa, then the offspring will be 25% AA, 50% Aa, and 25% AA. This is only true if the alleles are not sex-linked.
9:3:3:1 was the ratio of Mendel's f2 generation for the two factor cross.
-parents are both homozygous -offspring show a blend of phenotypes -offspring re all pink
Information from each eye goes to both hemispheres for processing
chromosomes
It depends. A lot of the time you can't, but it depends what kind of parents they are. If they both love you then maybe you can explain to them how you feel.
Both parents have the same allels
yeah in the granfarter has blue eyes which happened to me!
Both were carriers.
Both parents determine the features of their baby and other close family relatives such as grandparents. Sometimes, the baby inherits a family blood-limit or trait.
People are born gay so if the child is gay the parents had nothing to do with it.
Sandwich generation
No one will get it. Your parents paid for other people's social security. Just as younger people pay for your parents. Your parents do not have a balance for their social security. The government pays eligible people a certain amount until they die.
how can you work with both parents?
Chromosomes are genes you get from your parents. They affect your physical features and how you grow. Like if your parents were both short, you would get chromosomes deciding if you get their dominate gene (short) or both recessive genes (tall). You have 42 chromosomes when you are born (21 from each parent)
It depends on where it is used:'Both the parents are working' is not as good as 'Both ofthe parents are working'.'Both the parents and the children had fun' is correct.
