proteins have many different functions. Some proteins form structures that are easy to see, and others are very small and help cells do there jobs. Inside red blood cells, the protein hemoglobin binds to oxygen to deliver and release oxygen throughout the body, Some proteins protect cells. Other proteins called enzymes start or speed up chemical reactions in cells.

What is the major functions of the cells?

The cells nucleus control their metabolism by synthesizing several types of enzymes and proteins.

What are the functions of key?

proteins have all of the amino acids necessary to build and repair cells. Proteins are the only food source that is capable of building and repairing cells.

How does the nucleus control the functions of life?

it controls all the activities of the cells and the cells transport proteins and you need proteins to be able to digest food, see, and move around.

How is ribosomes damaging to the body?

its not. ribosomes produce proteins in cells so they can carry out different functions

What are the functions of protein cells?

Proteins have many different functions. They may help the cell transport molecules or ions across the cell membrane. Proteins can help make substrates, as well as break them down. They can also help make new proteins.

How do proteins in your cells access the energy stores in ATP?

Proteins in your cells access the energy stored in ATP by breaking down glucose. ATP will release energy any time the cells need to carry out functions that require energy.

What do cells make?

Cells make proteins. Proteins are macromolecules (large molecules made up of hundreds or thousands of smaller molecules) containing carbon, hydrogen, and Oxygen.
