allows infected individuals to quickly travel great distances.
First, it's important to understand the difference between a pandemic and an epidemic. An epidemic is a diseases where infection rates are significantly higher than what would normally be expected from that disease in that population. A pandemic is a epidemic that has been spread across a large region, usually multiple continents. Some examples are HIV/AIDS, influenza, smallpox and malaria. To be classified as a true pandemic, the disease must not only kill many people, and be spread over a large area, it must also be infectious. Cancer is a good example of this: even though it kills lots of people, and is very widespread, it is not pandemic, because most are not contagious. Lots of things can contribute to something becoming a pandemic. Diseases that are resistance to antibiotics or antivirals are considered risks of growing into pandemics. Highly contagious diseases, which have multiple ways of infecting someone would be more likely candidates, as are diseases which can move between species. An example is the bubonic plague, also known as the Black Death, which is thought to have killed up to a third of the population across Europe in the 14th Century. It was a very large pandemic, which was carried by fleas. The fleas would become infected, and bite humans, who would then get the disease. These infected fleas would hitch rides with rats, which lived close around humans or would climb on to ships bound for far away places. The rats would then leave the ship, the fleas would jump off and infect people in this new place, and the disease spread. The people were also contagious, so it spread between people, as well as being carried by the fleas.
Emerging disease is one which is new and is being noted because of its spreading amongst a population. Re-emerging is a disease that used to be around, (think polio) was mostly eradicated due to innoculation and is now coming back in certain populations.
The scope and significance of communicable diseases is that they are all illnesses that are caused by some kind of infectious agent. Communicable diseases are also called infectious diseases (or transmissible diseases).
Communicable diseases can spread easily from person to person, leading to rapid outbreaks and higher infection rates in a community. This makes them potentially more dangerous as they can affect a larger number of individuals quickly. Non-communicable diseases, on the other hand, are typically chronic conditions that do not spread through direct contact.

Both!! Because globalization is a huge factor, it increases communication between different countries, to increase trade! International business covers all aspects of business (accounting, financing, marketing, etc...) but from a multicultural and more diverse aspect
Globalization can lead to increased cultural exchange and diversity, which can influence individuals' beliefs, values, and identity. It can also create feelings of interconnectedness and interdependence with people around the world. However, globalization can also create stress and anxiety due to increased competition, cultural conflicts, and rapid changes in society.

Globalization is the spread of goods and culture throughout the world. Cultural diffusion is the spreading of ideas or products from one culture to another. They relate to each other because they are both the spread of something throughout the Earth. Consumption is the using up of goods and services. Globalization relates to consumption because the more a place has of globalization, the more it has, and the more it can consume. American consumption patterns affect people and places. If we use more than we need of something, there may not be enough of that for everybody. It affects whether we are a developed country, or a developing country. Globalization affects culture because the more culture spreads, the more the original culture changes. Globalization relates to of free trade, because free trade lets goods be traded easily, and globalization is the spread of culture and goods. Globalization helps multinational corporations because without globalization they would not spread to other countries. Gross domestic product relates to globalization because lots of globalization makes the GDP go up. GDP relates to consumption because the more we produce the more we can consume.
