You could have an infection. They may have "nicked" the wall of the colon. Didn't the doctor give you post op info about this? A high fever of 102 or above should be a concern and you should call.
A patient presents to the hospital. He has been feeling ill since his return from safari in Africa a few days ago. He exhibits symptoms of fever, mild hypotension, flushing, conjunctival injection, and now a bad rash has appeared that is bleeding in spots. What type of viral infection do you suspect?
Because he's sick that's why. I've had bronchitis now for two weeks, only in the last four days did I develop a fever. A fever is indicative of something wrong with his body. Some type of infection is active. Viral or bacteria or both. If this person doesn't get over the fever within 48 hours, seek medical help asap. Also bacteria and viruses are building resistance to antibiotics, so perhaps a new course of antibiotic treatment is necessary. I suggest seeing a specialist to treat your original symptoms and discuss with him/her what is going on.
can a microadenoma grow? i was diagnosed with one twenty years ago and am now ill with headaches dizziness high blood pressure high cholesterol.
Puerperal fever (from the Latin puer, child), also called childbed fever, can develop into puerperal sepsis, which is a serious form of septicaemia contracted by a woman during or shortly after childbirth, miscarriage or abortion. If untreated, it is life-threatening. The most common infection causing puerperal fever is genital tract sepsis. Other types of infection that can lead to sepsis after childbirth include urinary tract infection, breast infection (mastitis) and respiratory tract infection (more common after anaesthesia due to lesions in the windpipe). Puerperal fever is now rare in the West due to improved hygiene during delivery, and deaths have been reduced by antibiotics.
Carl Wunderlich discovered that fever is not a disease, but the body's response to a disease. Carl Reinhold August Wunderlich (1815-1877) was a German physician, pioneer psychiatrist, and medical professor. He is known for his measurement of mean healthy human body temperature of 37°C (98.6°F), now known more accurately to be about 36.8°C (98.2°F).

You missed the train! Whenever a child falls from a height or hits their head on something this is good reason to at least go to a clinic or the ER. Concusion can occur hours or days later, so always have your child checked over by a doctor no matter if you feel the fall wasn't all that bad and your child has stopped crying. The fall and the fever are unlikely to be related and if the fall was a week ago and you've seen no effects it probably wasn't serious. Prolonged fever in a child of that age does however merit a visit to the doctor.
Go see a doctor!!
Yes, about two days ago. He's fine now.
I hope you have shown her to a doctor. While any fever can cause headache and vomiting the combination of fever, severe headache and vomiting should be taken seriously.
